Bio
Aaron Rhyne’s designs have been seen on stages around the world in musicals, plays, operas, and dance performances as well as immersive experiences and nighttime spectaculars. He has offices in both New York and Los Angeles.
He designed the Broadway, touring, and multiple international productions of Anastasia, for which he won a Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Projection Design. Other projects include Hasan Minhaj’s The Kings Jester world tour and Netflix special, for colored girls who have considered suicide / when the rainbow Is enuf and The Sound Inside on Broadway, the Broadway and National Tours of the Tony Award winning A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, multiple projects for Disney’s Parks, Resorts, and Cruise Line including Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Tangled. His opera’s include The Thirteenth Child at Santa Fe Opera, The Ghosts of Versailles at LA Opera, and Florencia en el Amazonas for Opera Colorado and Florida Grand Opera. Mr. Rhyne currently teaches Projection Design at UCLA in Los Angeles.
